Warehouse/Receiving Associate
Purpose of role
The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of duties in and around the warehouse. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving and processing shipments, managing inventory, and fulfilling customer orders. They will also assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What you will be doing
· Receiving and Processing Shipments
o Verifying incoming freight, checking for damage, receiving items
· Inventory Management
o Maintain records in system and ensure proper storage
· Order Fulfilment
o Picking and packing orders, process shipping for timely delivery
· Clerical Tasks
o Data entry, record keeping, etc.
· Workspace Maintenance
o Keeping clean, organized and safe environment
· Other Duties
o Assist with loading/unloading, stocking and other related tasks as
required
Person Specification
· Attention to Detail
o Accurate record keeping and inventory management
· Organized
o Keep an organized workspace
· Physical Stamina
o Extended periods on feet and ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds
· Communication
o Working with colleagues in warehouse as well as other office staff and customers
· Basic Computer Skills
o Ability to navigate computer system for order processing and shipping
· Operate with absolute integrity and transparency and conduct business in line
with company's core values
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Prior warehouse/receiving experience required
